I was lost and alone with my brothers and sisters, left in the blazing sun in a carton in the street. I was hungry, thirsty, terrified and longing for my mother's milk. Then, people came, and lots of jostling around and then, there was quiet, and some water and some food, strange food, but at least it was food. I was still terrified. Then there were more people. And strange sounds. And another bout of jostling in a noisy contraption that semed to speed along the road. Suddenly, I was in a big room with two huge big dogs who, for some reason, I loved immediately. One of them kept growling at me, maybe because I kept nippping at her, hoping she'd lie down and let me nurse like my mother had. I was shoved into a crate and jostled off to another place, which I know now is that hated place they call a Vet's office! Stuff was put in my ears, and other parts of me I won't even mention and I got stuck with needles and it was AWFUL. Then I was in yet another place, which I now call home and there was good food and soft hands and soft voices and wonderfully soft bed where I slept. The next day I was back in the place with the big dogs, which I know now are the offices of SavannahBest. I played and played with those big dogs, especially the boy, who was already my special friend. Ever since, I've been the youngest darling angel (although sometimes they call me other things!) of SavannahBest. I keep everybody on their toes at all times. I guard the entire neighborhood! The humans all get mad at me when I chase the cats, so I only do that when they aren't looking! I am the adored Princess of the SavannahBest crew! |
