Traditionally, “Murphy’s Law” states that anything that can go wrong, will. Not so, it seems, for Murphy’s Law Pub, where nights may grow wacky, alright, but nothing ever seems to go wrong!

With an authentic Irish pub atmosphere, the longest copper bar in town and among the most comfortable bar stools, plus tables to seat two or four or more as needed, this is the place to go for a lively night of music and booze and laughter. The infectious, irrepressible Shelley Lowther, owner, sets the stage for fun.

Start off at Happy Hour, 3 to 7 pm, when Well drinks are only $2, and Domestic Bottled or draught beer is $2. Other drinks and beers are discounted as well.

Most nights there is music—Irish music and lots of it. The Irish-American Lowther leans toward Celtic rock and punk and eclectic indie music. Irish folk music happens, and the American part of the Irish-American is not neglected.

If you’re there before 10 pm, and need pub grub and lots more, to sop up some of the beer, you’ll get the best in Savannah (see link). Or, if it’s late at night and you’ve got the munchies, there are corned beef sandwiches that can’t be beat.

The beer list fits every taste. Twenty-one varieties of Draught, 60 bottled beers, and more than 15 Irish Whiskeys should certainly save anyone from thirst.

When you’re in the mood for a party, Murphy’s is a perfect spot to hit.
